Background:
The Manitoba Securities Commission (MSC) issued an investor alert on April 2, 2013, warning investors about a “high-yield investment” scheme offered by Felmina Alliance (Felmina), a company purportedly operating out of New York and/or Panama.
Felmina’s website offers prospective investors an investment opportunity to earn 1% to 1.6% interest daily.
We are not aware of any British Columbia residents who have been solicited by Felmina.
Felmina is not registered in British Columbia to trade or advise in securities or exchange contracts and has not qualified its investment offering by a prospectus.
We urge British Columbia residents to exercise extreme caution if approached by anyone offering this type of investment.
