financial life skills. It supports and complements the BCSC's written resource
(the Teacher Kit) for the Finances section of BC's Planning 10 high school
course. The tools, activities and information on this site will help students
complete the Planning 10 course and give them financial knowledge they can use
throughout their lives.

Alarming? Yes. Canadians of all ages need help learning how to
manage their finances safely and effectively. (Click The Facts
for more.) The City, a financial life skills resource for teachers and students, can help.
It offers BC teachers and high school students the tools they need to learn sound money
management skills.
This website complements the printed Planning 10: Finances binder. Together, the website
and binder help students complete the Finances section of BC's Planning 10 high school course.
There's something for everyone on this site:

Young people can use the tools and activities to build financial skills and the
confidence to use them.
