Background:

The website of Macro Trade was recently brought to our attention.  On its website, Macro Trade claims to be “a duly incorporated investment company offering multiple financial services to its clients globally” and offers on-line trading accounts.  It also claims to be owned by Forteco Trading Ltd. (Forteco). 

 Neither Macro Trade nor Forteco is registered in British Columbia to trade in, or advise on, securities and exchange contracts.

 We urge British Columbia residents to exercise extreme caution when dealing with firms that are not registered to trade or advise in British Columbia.
