      AND

      IN THE MATTER OF EVC RESOURCES LTD., KENNETH ARTHUR ERICKSON AND MAURICE JOHN CALF

      Order Under Section 174

      WHEREAS following a hearing under sections 161(1) and 162 of the Securities Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 418, into the conduct and affairs of EVC Resources Ltd., Kenneth Arthur Erickson and Maurice John Calf, the Commission issued a decision on December 14, 1999, in which it ordered, inter alia, under section 174 of the Act, that the respondents pay prescribed fees or charges for the costs of or related to the hearing incurred by the Commission and the Executive Director, the amount to be determined following further submissions from the parties;

      AND WHEREAS on January 17, 2000, Commission staff submitted a bill of $24,189.00, representing prescribed fees and charges incurred by the Commission and the Executive Director in relation to the hearing;

      AND WHEREAS the submission of Commission staff was sent to the Respondents on May 11, 2000;

      AND WHEREAS no submissions were received from the Respondents regarding Commission staff’s bill of costs in the amount of $24,189.00;

      NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders under section 174 of the Act and in accordance with section 22(1), Items 38(a), (b) and (c) of the Securities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 478/95, that the costs of or related to the hearing are $24,189.00, and are apportioned and payable forthwith as follows:

      Kenneth Arthur Erickson$19,351.20
      Maurice John Calf$ 4,837.80
