COR #03/013
Variation Order
Harbanse Singh Doman
Section 171 of the Securities Act, RSBC 1996, c.418
¶ 1 Background
1. On October 14, 1999, the British Columbia Securities Commission made an order under section 161(1)(c) of the Securities Act, RSBC 1996, c.418 that the exemptions described in sections 44 to 47, 74, 75 and 98 of the Act do not apply to Harbanse Singh Doman for a period ending October 25, 2009.
2. Doman represents that he wishes to sell units of A&W Revenue Royalties Income Fund and common shares of Norske Skog Canada Limited (the “Securities”).
3. Doman further represents that he is not an insider of either issuer.
4. The Commission considers that to do so would not be prejudicial to the public interest.
¶ 2 Order
1. The Commission varies the order under section 171 of the Act to allow Doman to use the exemption described in section 45(2)(7) of the Act to sell the Securities.
