WHEREAS an application has been made to the Executive Director on behalf of Everest Canadian Properties Company (“Everest”) for an order under sections 45(2)(4) and 74(2)(3) of the Securities Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 418 that Everest be designated as an exempt purchaser;

AND WHEREAS the Executive Director is satisfied that to do so would not be prejudicial to the public interest;

IT IS ORDERED under sections 45(2)(4) and 74(2)(3) of the Act that Everest is designated as an exempt purchaser for the period from August 31, 2001 to August 30, 2002.
