Notice of Adjournment and Extension of Temporary Orders

On October 25, 2000, under section 161 of the Securities Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 418, the Executive Director gave notice to A2Z USA,Inc., Steve John Moran, Robin J. Mcpherson, Thomas Landon Croft, Mark Maradei, Ezra Maxwell Gardner and Walt Bills (the “Respondents”) of a hearing to be held before the British Columbia Securities Commission to determine whether it is in the public interest to make orders under the Act against the Respondents;

On October 25, 2000, the Executive Director issued temporary orders under section 161(2) of the Act that the exemptions described in sections 44 to 47, 74, 75, 98 and 99 of the Act do not apply to the Respondents;

On November 8, 2000, the Commission, considering the evidence filed and submissions made by counsel for A2Z USAand Croft and by counsel for Commission staff and considering it necessary and in the public interest to do so, ordered that:

1. the hearing be adjourned to December 13, 2000, at which time a date would be fixed for the hearing; and

2. under section 161(3) of the Act, the Temporary Orders be extended until the hearing is held and a decision is rendered;

On December 13, 2000 the Commission ordered that the hearing be adjourned to 10:00 a.m. on January 31, 2001, at British Columbia Securities Commission, 12th Floor, 701 West Georgia Street, Vancouver.
