WHEREAS an application has been made to the Executive Director on behalf of Ventures West 7 Limited Partnership for an order under sections 45(2)(4) and 74(2)(3) of the Securities Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 418 that the partnership be designated as an exempt purchaser;

AND WHEREAS the Executive Director is satisfied that to do so would not be prejudicial to the public interest;

IT IS ORDERED under sections 45(2)(4) and 74(2)(3) of the Act that Ventures West 7 Limited Partnership is designated as an exempt purchaser for the period from March 21, 2001 to March 20, 2002.
