Golden Capital Securities Ltd. and
Investment Dealers Association of Canada
Section 28 of the Securities Act, RSBC 1996, c. 418
¶ 1 In a decision dated November 26, 2007, the Investment Dealers Association of Canada ruled that Golden Capital Securities Ltd. had contravened Association bylaws by failing to provide the Association with free access to certain records. In a related order, the IDA ordered Golden Capital to provide the records to a consultant retained by the Association.
¶ 2 On December 31, 2007, Golden Capital applied to the Commission for a hearing and review of the decision and order, and sought a stay pending the review.
¶ 3 The Commission will hear the stay application at 9:30 am on January 9, 2008, at the British Columbia Securities Commission, 12th floor, 701 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, British Columbia.
