¶ 1 PhytoMedical Technologies Inc. (PhytoMedical) is not a reporting issuer in British Columbia.
¶ 2 PhytoMedical’s administrative office is located in Vancouver, BC.
¶ 3 A person who is the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, a director and major shareholder is resident in British Columbia.
¶ 4 PhytoMedical’s securities are quoted on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board in the United States.
¶ 5 PhytoMedical’s securities are the subject of a promotional e-mail (spam) campaign in British Columbia.
¶ 6 The Executive Director considers that circumstances exist that could result in other than an orderly trading of PhytoMedical’s securities.
The Order
¶ 7 Under section 89(1) of the Act, the Executive Director, considering it to be in the public interest, orders that trading in the securities of PhytoMedical is halted until the end of January 22, 2008.
