STAY OF DECISION:-- WHEREAS the British Columbia Securities Commission, in its decision dated December 17, 1990, ordered

- under section 144(1)(c) of the Securities Act, S.B.C. 1985, c. 83, (the "Act"), that the exemptions described in sections 30 to 32, 55, 58, 80 and 81 do not apply to Murray Pezim, Lawrence Page and John Ivany for a period of one year, beginning January 1, 1991; and
- under section 154.2 of the Act, that Pezim, Page and Ivany pay prescribed fees or charges for two thirds of the costs of or related to the hearing that have been incurred by the Commission and the Superintendent of Brokers, with the amount to be determined on further application to the Commission if the parties are unable to agree on the amount;
AND WHEREAS Pezim, Page, Ivany and Prime Resources Group Inc. (the "Respondents") have applied to the Commission for a stay of the decision until January 11, 1991, on the basis that they are going to bring on applications to the British Columbia Court of Appeal for leave to appeal the decision and for a stay of the decision pending the appeal;

AND WHEREAS the Superintendent has consented to a stay of the decision until January 11, 1991, on the understanding that the Respondents will make applications for leave to appeal and any consequential stay together on either January 9 or January 10, 1991;

NOW THEREFORE the Commission granted, on December 18, 1990, a stay of the decision, under section 149(2) of the Act, until January 11, 1991.
