Section 89 of the Securities Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 418
¶ 1 Anavex Life Sciences Corp. (Anavex) is an OTC reporting issuer under Multilateral Instrument 51-105 Issuers Quoted in the U.S. Over-the-Counter Markets, and its securities are quoted on the OTCQB tier of the OTC Markets quotation system.
¶ 2 The Executive Director considers that circumstances exist that could result in other than an orderly trading of Anavex’s securities.
¶ 3 Under section 89(1) of the Act, the Executive Director, considering it to be in the public interest, orders that all trading in Anavex’s securities halt until the end of June 26, 2013, or until the Executive Director revokes this order.
