Section 89 of the Securities Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 418
¶ 1 Paivis Corp. (Paivis) is an issuer with a director, subsidiaries, management company and shareholder in British Columbia.
¶ 2 Paivis is not a reporting issuer in British Columbia.
¶ 3 Paivis’s securities are quoted on the Pink Sheets, Over the Counter Bulletin Board in the United States and the Berlin Stock Exchange.
¶ 4 Paivis’s securities are the subject of a promotional e-mail (spam) campaign in British Columbia.
¶ 5 The Executive Director considers that circumstances exist that could result in other than an orderly trading of Paivis’s securities.
The Order
¶ 6 Under section 89(1) of the Act, the Executive Director, considering it to be in the public interest, orders that trading in the securities of Paivis is halted until the end of June 26, 2007.
