Hearing Adjournment

James Terrence Alexander, Anne Christine Eilers
and JT Alexander and Associates Holding Corporation

Section 161 of the Securities Act, RSBC 1996, c. 418

¶ 1 The British Columbia Securities Commission is holding a hearing to determine whether it is in the public interest to make orders under the Act against James Terrence Alexander, Anne Christine Eilers, and JT Alexander and Associates Holding Corporation. The allegations are set out in the notice of hearing, dated December 8, 2003. The hearing was set to commence on February 7, 2005.

¶ 2 On January 14, 2005, commission staff counsel, on behalf of the executive director and counsel for Alexander, made an application to adjourn this matter until criminal charges involving allegations that overlap with allegations in the notice of hearing have been dealt with by the courts. Eilers supports the adjournment application.

¶ 3 The commission, considering it to be in the public interest, adjourns the hearing to June 15, 2005, at 10 am at the British Columbia Securities Commission, 12th floor, 701 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, when the parties will inform the commission of their readiness to set a date for the hearing.
