Variation of Cease Trade Order
Americas Energy Company - Aeco
(formerly Trend Technology Corporation)

¶ 1 On October 20, 2009, the Executive Director ordered (the Cease Trade Order) under section 164 of the Act that trading in the securities of Trend Technology Corporation (the Company) cease until the Company files an auditor’s report prepared by a public accounting firm that had entered into a participation agreement with the Canadian Public Accountability Board, as required under National Instrument 52-103
Auditor Oversight
(the required auditor’s report) and the Executive Director makes an order under section 164 of the Act revoking the Cease Trade Order.
¶ 2 On October 14, 2009, the name of the Company was changed from Trend Technology Corporation to Americas Energy Company – Aeco.
¶ 3 The Company has not filed the required auditor’s report and the Executive Director has not made an order under section 164 of the Act revoking the Cease Trade Order.
¶ 4 Under section 171 of the Act, the Executive Director varies the Cease Trade Order to reflect the Company’s change of name from Trend Technology Corporation to Americas Energy Company – Aeco.
