Background
1. Commission staff asked for costs in this matter. In a decision dated June 1, 2001, the commission asked commission staff to provide Robert Arthur Hartvikson and Blayne Barry Johnson with further particulars about staff’s bill of costs. On April 27, 2004, commission staff sent an amended bill of costs for $52,638.19 to Hartvikson and Johnson. Subsequently, counsel for Hartvikson and Johnson and commission staff agreed to reduce the costs to $42,638.
Order Under Section 174
2. The commission orders under section 174 of the Securities Act, RSBC 1996, c. 418, that Hartvikson and Johnson jointly and severally pay $42,638.
