¶ 1 The British Columbia Securities Commission will hold a hearing to determine whether it is in the public interest to make orders under section 161(1) of the Act against Adcapital Industries Inc., AD Capital U.S. Inc. and Adis Golic, also known as Ady Golic.
¶ 2 On May 20, 2008, the Executive Director issued a temporary order and notice of hearing against the respondents. The temporary order was set to expire on June 3, 2008.
¶ 3 On June 3, 2008, with the consent of the parties, the Commission, considering it necessary and in the public interest, under section 161(3) of the Act:
- • extended the temporary order until a hearing is held and a decision is rendered; and
• adjourned the hearing to January, 2009 on a day agreed to by the parties or, failing agreement, by the Commission, when the parties will inform the Commission of their readiness to set a date for the hearing.
¶ 4 The parties having failed to agree upon a day, the Commission adjourns the hearing to January 20, 2009 at 9 am at the British Columbia Securities Commission, 12th floor, 701 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, BC, when the parties will inform the Commission of their readiness to set a date for the hearing.
