¶ 1 Hemisphere Gold Inc. (Hemisphere) is not a reporting issuer in British Columbia.
¶ 2 Hemisphere carries out its investor relations activities from British Columbia.
¶ 3 Hemisphere’s securities are quoted on Pink Sheets in the United States over-the-counter market.
¶ 4 Hemisphere’s securities are the subject of a promotional e-mail (spam) campaign in British Columbia.
¶ 5 The Executive Director considers that circumstances exist that could result in other than an orderly trading of Hemisphere’s securities.
The Order
¶ 6 Under section 89(1) of the Act, the Executive Director, considering it to be in the public interest, orders that trading in the securities of Hemisphere is halted until the end of November 19, 2007.
