Carolann Steinhoff
Section 28 of the Securities Act, RSBC 1996, c. 418
On August 22, 2003, Carolann Steinhoff applied for a hearing and review of an Investment Dealers Association decision, the findings of which were released on April 22, 2003 and the sanctions on August 5, 2003. In the decision the IDA imposed a total fine against Steinhoff of $5,250 and required her to rewrite the Conduct & Practices Handbook Course within six months.
Steinhoff also applied for, and was granted, a stay of the decision pending disposition of the hearing and review.
On August 27, 2003, the Investment Dealers Association applied to the Commission for a hearing and review of the same decision.
A hearing to review the decision will be held on October 27 and 28, 2004, at 10 am at the British Columbia Securities Commission, 12th Floor, 701 West Georgia Street, Vancouver.
