VerifySmart Corp. (formerly known as Verified Capital Corp.), Verified
Transactions Corp., Daniel Scammell and Casper de Beer aka Casha de Beer
Section 161 of the Securities Act, RSBC 1996, c. 418
Ruling
¶ 1 On April 12, 2011, Daniel Scammell applied to adjourn the hearing scheduled to begin on April 18, 2011.
¶ 2 Scammell argued that we should adjourn the hearing because he had to engage new counsel under circumstances outside his control.
¶ 3 The Executive Director opposed the adjournment.
¶ 4 Considering Scammel finds himself in circumstances not of his own making and considering the public interest, the Commission adjourns the hearing to July 4, 5 and 6, 2011.
