Background
¶ 1 On November 2, 2012, by consent, the Commission issued a temporary order under section 161(1) of the Act until a hearing is held and a decision is rendered.
¶ 2 On May 23, 2013, the Commission, after considering Nickford’s third adjournment application, adjourned the hearing generally due to Nickford’s ill health.
¶ 3 On June 17, 2013, the Commission set dates for the hearing to commence on January 27, 2014.
¶ 4 On September 25, 2013, Nickford applied to adjourn the hearing generally, because of her continuing ill health.
Ruling
¶ 5 Having reviewed the submissions of the parties, and considering it not to be prejudicial to the public interest, the Commission rules that:
- • the hearing is adjourned generally
• the parties attend a hearing management meeting on January 27, 2014 at 9:00am
• considering that disclosure would be unduly prejudicial to Nickford, the public be excluded from the submissions of the parties filed in this adjournment application.
