Consent Settlement and Order

CONSENT Settlement AND ORDER:-- WHEREAS by Notice of Hearing dated January 10, 1989 under section 145 of the Securities Act S.B.C. 1985, c. 83 then in force, the Superintendent of Brokers (the "Superintendent") initiated proceedings before the British Columbia Securities Commission (the "Commission") against Ronald Bruce Bieber ("Bieber");
AND WHEREAS the Superintendent has agreed to discontinue the proceedings before the Commission;
NOW THEREFORE the Superintendent being of the opinion that this Consent Settlement and Order is in the public interest, orders and Bieber undertakes and agrees that:
1. |  | under section 144(1)(d) of the Securities Act, S.B.C. 1985 c. 83 as amended, Bieber shall immediately resign any position he holds as a director and officer of a reporting issuer and will not act as a director or officer of any reporting issuer for a period of 3 years from January 26, 1989 up to and including January 26, 1992. | |
2. | | under section 154.2 of the Act Bieber shall pay to the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Province of British Columbia the sum of $2,000.00. | |
3. | | Bieber agrees to waive his rights to a hearing and review in this matter. | |
