¶ 1 The British Columbia Securities Commission is to determine whether it is in the public interest to make orders under the Securities Act against Terry James Minnie and Raymond Patrick Shaw. The hearing is set to start June 1, 2005.
¶ 2 On March 29, 2005, staff asked us to adjourn the hearing until a decision is issued in the criminal matter involving the respondents. It appears that the trial has been adjourned to October 17, 2005.
¶ 3 We remain of the view that it is in the public interest not to proceed with the hearing in this matter until staff conclude their investigation and a decision is issued in the criminal proceedings. The hearing is therefore adjourned until 10 am January 16 to 20, 2006 at the British Columbia Securities Commission, 12th floor, 701 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, British Columbia.
¶ 4 Temporary orders, issued on October 7, 2004 and extended on November 26, 2004, remain in effect until a hearing is held and a decision is rendered.
