Ruling
¶ 1 On March 17, 2011 the executive director issued a notice of hearing containing allegations that Samuel Richard Allaby, Gaia Equity Investments, and Midas Group Holdings Ltd. contravened the Securities Act, RSBC 1996, c. 418.
¶ 2 On April 17, 2012, the Commission set the hearing for June 6, 2012. The respondents did not attend.
¶ 3 On June 6, 2012, the executive director applied to have the hearing conducted in writing, and to have issues of liability and sanction heard at the same time.
¶ 4 We rule that the hearing be conducted in writing, and the issues of liability and sanction be heard at the same time.
¶ 5 We rule that the documents pre-marked as Exhibits 2 to 22 be admitted as Exhibits 2 to 22.
¶ 6 We direct the executive director to file submissions by June 27, 2012, the respondents to file any response by July 11, 2012, and the executive director to file any reply by July 18, 2012.
