Section 161 of the Securities Act, RSBC 1996, c. 418
¶ 1 The British Columbia Securities Commission will hold a hearing to determine whether it is in the public interest to make orders under sections 161, 162 and 174 of the Act against Amr I. Elgindy.
¶ 2 On October 19, 2006, the executive director applied to adjourn the proceedings until Elgindy’s criminal appeal has run its course. Elgindy does not object to the application.
¶ 3 The temporary order set out in the amended notice of hearing dated October 17, 2006 remains in effect until the hearing is held and a decision is rendered.
¶ 4 The hearing is adjourned generally.
