ORDER:-- WHEREAS following a hearing on August 22, 1995, under section 144(1) of the Securities Act, S.B.C. 1985, c.83, into the conduct and affairs of Cornelius Richard Giesbrecht, we issued a decision on February 15, 1996, in which we ordered, inter alia, under section 154.2 of the Act that Giesbrecht pay prescribed fees and charges for the costs of or related to the hearing incurred by the Commission and the Executive Director, the amounts to be determined following further submissions from the parties;

AND WHEREAS on July 15, 1996, Commission staff submitted a bill of $1,625 representing prescribed fees and charges incurred by Commission staff in relation to the hearing;

AND WHEREAS the submission of Commission staff was sent to Giesbrecht on July 30,  1996, with a  request that Giesbrecht respond by August 14, 1996, and Giesbrecht has made no submission in response;

NOW THEREFORE we order under section 154.2 of the Act and in accordance with section 22(1), Item 38(a), (b) and (c) of the Securities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 478/95, that Giesbrecht pay forthwith costs of or related to the hearing in the amount of $1,625.
