  • BCN 2010/25 - Adoption of BC Instrument 32-517 Exemption from Dealer Registration Requirement for Trades in Securities of Mortgage Investment Entities

    This notice describes an omnibus/blanket order providing temporary relief from the dealer registration requirement in National Instrument 31-103 Registration Requirements and Exemptions for trades in securities of mortgage investment entities.  The order becomes effective on August 20, 2010 and expires on December 31, 2010.

  • CSA Staff Notice 31-318 - Omnibus/blanket order exempting mortgage investment entities from the investment fund manager registration requirements and the adviser registration requirement

    This notice describes an omnibus/blanket order to provide temporary relief from the investment fund manager registration requirement and the adviser registration requirement in National Instrument 31-103 – Registration Requirements and Exemptions for persons that are mortgage investment entities.  The order becomes effective on August 20, 2010 and expires on December 31, 2010.
