This notice republishes for comment proposed National Instrument 25-101 Designated Rating Organizations, its related forms, and proposed consequential amendments and related policies.
The proposed new rule is intended to implement a securities regulatory regime for credit rating organizations that is consistent with international standards and developments. The comment period ends on May 17, 2011.
The Commission is publishing for comment for 60 days proposed amendments to the MFDA's Form 1 to add a definition of "market value of securities". The comment period expires on May 17, 2011. Details on the process for submitting comments are included in Section V of the MFDA's notice.
