  • BCN 2011/05 - Advance Notice of Repeal and Replacement of National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects, Form 43-101F1 Technical Report, and Companion Policy 43-101CP

    This notice announces the adoption of a revised National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects, technical report form and companion policy, and related consequential amendments. The changes reflect the results of industry consultation and experience with the mining rule since its initial adoption in February 2001, and aim to make the mining rule more effective and cost-efficient without compromising investor protection. Subject to obtaining required ministerial approvals, the revised Instrument and related documents will come into force on June 30, 2011.
  • BCN 2011/06 - Publication for Comment of Proposed National Instrument 23-103 Electronic Trading and Direct Electronic Access to Marketplaces and Related Documents

    This notice describes proposed National Instrument 23-103 Electronic Trading and Direct Electronic Access to Marketplaces. The proposed new rule would impose risk management requirements on marketplace participants for electronic trading, including direct electronic access. The proposed new rule would also impose requirements regarding electronic trading on marketplaces. The comment period for this proposal expires on July 8, 2011.
