  • BCN 2012/02 - Notice of Adoption of Amendments to National Instrument 81-102 Mutual Funds and National Instrument 81-106 Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure

    This notice announces the adoption of amendments to National Instrument 81-102 Mutual Funds and National Instrument 81-106 Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure, and consequential amendments. The amendments update the product regulation of publicly offered investment funds to accommodate newer products such as exchange-trade mutual funds and introduce new investment restrictions for money market funds. Subject to obtaining required ministerial approvals, the amendments will come into force on April 30, 2012.

  • BCN 2012/03 - Notice of and Request for Comment on Proposed Multilateral Policy 31-202 Registration Requirement for Investment Fund Managers

    This notice publishes for comment proposed Multilateral Policy 31-202 Registration Requirement for Investment Fund Managers and proposed amendments to Companion Policy 31-103CP Registration Requirements, Exemptions and Ongoing Registrant Obligations, relating to the registration of investment fund managers. The comment period ends on April 10, 2012.

  • CSA Consultation Paper 91-404 - Derivatives:  Segregation and Portability in OTC Derivatives Clearing

    The CSA is publishing the paper to obtain public comment on its recommendations relating to the segregation and portability of collateral provided in clearing an OTC derivatives transaction.  The comment period expires April 10, 2012.
