    Standards of Disclosure for Oil and Gas Activities and Proposed Changes to Companion Policy 51-101CP Standards of Disclosure for Oil and Gas Activities

    This notice announces the publication for comment of proposed amendments to National Instrument 51-101 Standards of Disclosure for Oil and Gas Activities and its companion policy. The proposed amendments would promote better disclosure of unconventional resources, provide for increased flexibility for oil and gas reporting issuers worldwide and harmonize with proposed changes to the Canadian Oil and Gas Handbook. The comment period ends on January 17, 2014.
  • 52-108 - CSA Notice and Request for Comment - National Instrument 52-108 Auditor Oversight and Proposed Amendments to National Instrument 41-101 General Prospectus Requirements, National Instrument 51-102 Continuous Disclosure Obligations and National Instrument 71-102 Continuous Disclosure and other Exemptions Relating to Foreign Issuers

    This notice publishes for comment the repeal and replacement of NI 52-108 Auditor Oversight and other proposed amendments. The proposed rule changes the triggers for when a public accounting firm must deliver a notice to the regulator. The proposed amendments require more timely and complete information about changes in auditor, increase transparency about auditor oversight in a prospectus, and align a foreign issuer’s obligations relating to auditor oversight with their auditor’s obligations. The comment period ends on January 15, 2014.
