This advance notice announces our intention to adopt amendments to National Instrument 44-101, Form 44-101F3 Short Form Prospectus, and Companion Policy 44-101CP. These amendments are to eliminate overlap and inconsistencies between NI 44-101 and National Instrument 52-107. If the Minister approves the amendments, they will be effective January 4, 2005.

This notice and instrument relate to issuers with financial years that are not 365 or 366 days, other than transition years, to permit filing financial statements and MD&A for interim periods based on those financial years.
