This notice announces that, effective January 4, 2005, the CSA are amending National Instrument 44-101, Form 44-101F3 and Companion Policy 44-101CP to make the financial statement requirements consistent with National Instrument 52-107 Acceptable Accounting Principles, Auditing Standards and Reporting Currency.

Notice 2005/01 - Membership in the Securities Law Advisory Committee
The commission is seeking expressions of interest from British Columbia securities law practitioners to serve on its Securities Law Advisory Committee. We are looking for three or four new members for a three year term starting on April 1, 2005 and ending on March 31, 2008. SLAC is a volunteer committee that advises the commission on rules and policy initiatives, provides important feedback on capital market trends and acts as a consultative body on emerging or important issues. If you are interested, please forward your resume to the attention of the Chair of the commission by February 4, 2005. - BC

If adopted, these documents would replace NI 44-101, Form 44-101F3 and Companion Policy 44-101CP that are currently in force. All comments received by April 8, 2005 will be considered.
