  • BC Notice 2003/03 - BC Instrument 81-506 - Exemption for mutual funds from delivering financial

    This BCI gives relief to mutual funds from sending annual and interim financial statements to all security holders. To rely on the relief, the manager of the mutual fund must send an annual notice to security holders telling them they will only receive the financial statements if the security holders request them.

  • BC Notice 2003/04 - Republication for Comment of Proposed National Instrument 51-101 - Standards of Disclosure for Oil and Gas Activities and Related Documents

    This Notice announces that the CSA are republishing for comment proposed National Instrument 51-101 - Standards of Disclosure for Oil and Gas Activities. If adopted in BC, NI 51-101, after a transitional period, would replace the guidance contained in National Policy No. 2-B Guide for Engineers and Geologists Submitting Oil and Gas Reports to Canadian Provincial Securities Administrators. We are also seeking comments on related consequential amendments to securities legislation that would be implemented when NI 51-101 comes into effect.

    The Commission is seeking comments on alternative ways to achieve the objectives of NI 51-101. All comments received by March 31, 2003 will be considered.

  • CSA Notice 21-302 - Confidentiality of forms filed under National Instrument 21-101 Marketplace Operation

    This notice advises that the Canadian Securities Administrators have determined, under the applicable provisions of local securities legislation, to keep confidential the forms that marketplaces and information processors are required to file under National Instrument 21-101 Marketplace Operation.

  • CSA Staff Notice 43-302 - Frequently Asked Questions (Revised) - National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects

    This CSA Staff Notice publishes a revised list of frequently asked questions to help the mining industry and the public understand new standards of disclosure for mining projects. The standards are contained in NI 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects, which became effective February 1, 2001.

  • CSA Staff Notice 51-306 - Status of Proposed Continuous Disclosure Rule

    This Notice advises that the filing deadlines in proposed NI 51-102 Continuous Disclosure Obligations for financial statements, management discussion and analysis (MD&A) and annual information forms (AIFs) will not be mandatory for financial years beginning before January 1, 2004.
