This notice announces the publication of a CSA Notice and Request for Comment on Discussion Paper on Straight-Through Processing (STP), proposed National Instrument 24-101 Post-Trade Matching and Settlement (the Rule) and proposed Companion Policy. The comment period expires on July 16, 2004. The notice requests specific comment in BC on the following questions:1. Is the Rule necessary?2. Can industry achieve STP without regulatory intervention?3. If the Commission adopts the Rule, should the Rule include filing and reporting requirements for matching service providers?
