  • BC Notice 2003/15 - BCI 33-509 - Exemptions to extend certain NRD submission dates

    This notice announces that the Executive Director has granted exemptions to Multilateral Instrument 31-102 National Registration Database (MI 31-102) and Multilateral Instrument 33-109 Registration Information (MI 33-109) to extend the deadline dates for certain NRD submissions.

  • BC Notice 2003/16 - Adoption of Amendments to National Instrument 55-102 System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI) and BC Instrument 55-505 Interim Requirements during the Launch of the System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI)

    This notice announces that the Commission, together with the other members of the Canadian Securities Administrators, are amending National Instrument 55-102 System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI), the related forms and companion policy. The amendments are effective April 29, 2003.

    This notice also announces that the Commission is implementing BC Instrument 55-505 effective May 5, 2003. The BCI provides temporary exemptions from the requirements to electronically file insider reports and related insider and issuer information during the launch of the System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI). On April 11, 2003, the Commission published CSA Staff Notice 55-309 Launch of the System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI) and Other Insider Reporting Matters announcing that SEDI will be launched beginning May 5, 2003. The launch will use the staged implementation process described in that notice. The BCI is to facilitate an orderly staged implementation of the filing obligations of SEDI issuers and insiders during the launch of SEDI.

  • BC Instrument 52-508 - US GAAP and US GAAS for SEC Issuers

    BCI 52-508 provides blanket relief to allow SEC issuers to prepare annual and interim financial statements using US GAAP and have their annual financial statements audited in accordance with US GAAS.

  • CSA Staff Notice 52-305 - Optional Use of US GAAP and US GAAS by SEC Issuers

    CSA Staff Notice 52-305 advises that CSA staff will consider applications for discretionary relief permitting SEC issuers to use US GAAP and US GAAS. In B.C., the BCSC has granted blanket relief to SEC issuers in BC Instrument 52-508 US GAAP and US GAAS for SEC Issuers, effective May 2, 2003.
