  • BCN 2003/33 - Multilateral Instrument 45-105 Trades to Employees, Senior Officers, Directors, and Consultants

    This BC notice announces that MI 45-105 is effective and that BC Instrument 45-507 Trades to Employees, Executives and Consultants is revoked. MI 45-105 provides exemptions from the registration, prospectus, and issuer bid requirements for certain trades among an issuer, its employees, senior officers, directors, consultants and permitted transferees.

  • BCN 2003/32 - Membership in the Securities Policy Advisory Committee

    The Commission's Securities Policy Advisory Committee is seeking expressions of interest from interested British Columbia market participants. SPAC is looking for three new members for a term expiring on March 31, 2006, renewable for another three years. SPAC is a volunteer committee that provides advice on administrative, regulatory and legislative matters affecting the securities industry in the Province. If you are interested, please forward your resume to the attention of the Chair of SPAC by September 15, 2003.

  • BC Notice 2003/31 - CSA Notice - Canadian Securities Administrators' Uniform Securities Transfer Act Task Force

    The CSA Task Force has published for comment a consultative draft of the Uniform Securities Transfer Act (USTA). The proposed provincial Act will provide a sound legal foundation for the transfer and holding of securities in the modern securities market place. In addition, it will provide uniform legislation for Canada that is harmonized with existing similar legislation in the United States.
