  • BCN 2002/01 - The Commission's New Economy and Adoption of Technologies Initiative

    This notice advises that the commission recognizes that the securities industry is burdened by unnecessary and costly regulatory requirements. It is also aware of the importance of the new economy sector to BC's economic development.

    In response, the commission established the New Economy and Adoption of Technologies (NEAT) group to assess the impact of BC securities regulation on new economy firms and on firms adopting new technologies in all industry sectors.

  • BCN 2002/02 - Membership in the Securities Law Advisory Committee

    By this notice, the Commission requests expressions of interest from securities law practitioners to serve on the Securities Law Advisory Committee. The Commission is seeking to appoint four new members for a three-year term expiring March 31, 2005. Any one interested should provide a resume by February 1, 2002.

  • CSA Staff Notice 52-303 - Non-GAAP Earnings Measures

    Commission staff, together with staff of other CSA members, have published CSA Staff Notice 52-303.

    This Notice provides guidance to issuers regarding the publication of earnings measures that are not prescribed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ("GAAP").

  • BC Notice 2002/03 - Application for recognition of Market Regulation Services Inc., Notice and Request for Comments

    The Commission is requesting comment on a new fee model for Market Regulation Services Inc. (RS Inc.). RS Inc. has applied for recognition as a self-regulatory organization and will act as regulation services provider under the recently enacted rules for alternative trading systems.
