The Commission, together with the other members of the Canadian Securities Administrators, is publishing for comment proposed National Instrument 51-101 Standards of Disclosure for Oil and Gas Activities and related documents. The proposed new instrument would introduce new standards for public disclosure by reporting issuers in the oil and gas sector. Comments submitted by April 30, 2002 will be considered.

and Annual Information Forms- National Policy 43- 201 - Mutual Reliance Review System For Prospectuses And AIFS
The Commission, together with the other members of the CSA, has amended National Policy 43-201 Mutual Reliance Review System for Prospectuses and Annual Information Forms (MRRS). This notice states that the objective of the MRRS is to reduce the unnecessary duplication in the review of materials filed in multiple jurisdictions. The notice also contains a summary of the amendments to the National Policy which are made mainly as a result of the adoption on December 31, 2000 of new national and local prospectus rules.
