- BC Notice 2002/20 - New Proposals for Securities Regulation
This BCN announces that the Commission is publishing for comment its paper New Proposals for Securities Regulation. The Proposals were developed from the concepts contained in our February 18, 2002 Concept Paper. They reflect the many comments we received on those concepts as well as our further study and consideration.
The four main Proposals in the paper relate to:
- A Continuous Market Access System
- Registration
- Investor Remedies
- Enforcement and Public Interest Powers
We invite you to write us about these Proposals. We have raised 10 specific discussion points in the paper, but we are interested in your comments on all aspects of the Proposals. We will consider everything received before September 30, 2002.
