This BCN announces that the BCSC and ASC have published for comment a harmonized set of capital raising exemptions contained in Multilateral Instrument 45-103 Capital Raising Exemptions. The proposed exemptions increase access to capital and investment opportunities in B.C. and Alberta while providing appropriate investor protection.

We are seeking comments on the Multilateral Instrument, Companion Policy, two Forms of Offering Memorandum and Form of Risk Acknowledgement. We invite you to submit your written comments on or before November 30, 2001.

  • BC Notice 2001/68 - Publication for Comment of Proposed Amendments to National Instrument 14-101 - Definitions

    This BCN announces that the Commission is publishing for comment proposed amendments to National Instrument 14-101 Definitions, together with other members of the CSA.

    You are invited to make written submissions on the proposed amendments on or before December 28, 2001.

  • CSA Staff Notice 12-306 - Exemptive Relief Applications and Year End

    This CSA Staff Notice advises potential applicants that if they require exemptive relief before December 31, 2001, their applications should be filed before November 1, 2001 or, in the case of applications relating to takeover bids, November 30, 2001.
