This BCN announces the adoption of National Instrument 55-102 System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI) (including related forms), Companion Policy 55-102CP and certain consequential amendments, which will facilitate filing and public dissemination of insider reports in electronic format through an internet website.The BCN also provides notice of the adoption of certain consequential amendments to the Securities Act and Rules that will reduce the prescribed time periods for filing insider reports.

  • BC Notice 2001/71 - CSA Staff Notice 71-301 - SEC Proposed Rule: Mandated EDGAR Filing for Foreign Issuers

    This BCN announces the publication of CSA Staff Notice 71-301. This CSA Staff Notice advises that the SEC has published for comment proposed amendments to the rules governing EDGAR. The proposed amendments would require foreign private issuers and foreign governments to file securities documents required under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933 or the U.S. Securities Exchange Act of 1934 through EDGAR. The comment period ends on December 3, 2001.

The standards are contained in NI 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects, which became effective February 1, 2001.
