This notice announces that the Commission, together with other members of the CSA, has adopted NI 33-105 and companion policy 33-105CP, effective January 3, 2002. The Commission has also made consequential amendments to the Securities Rules and repealed BCI 33-505. This notice describes the content of NI 33-105, the companion policy, and the consequential amendments, which together create a framework for managing conflicts and potential conflicts of interest in underwriting activities. The text of NI 33-105, the companion policy, and the consequential amendments are attached to the notice.
