BC Notice 2005/46 - Adoption of National Instrument 45-106 Prospectus and Registration Exemptions and consequential amendments

This notice announces the adoption of NI 45-106 Prospectus and Registration Exemptions in BC. NI 45-106 consolidates and, to an extent, harmonizes many exemptions from the prospectus and registration requirements across Canada. This notice also identifies the consequential amendments made to national, multilateral and local instruments, as well as to local rules, policies, forms and notices as a result of the adoption of NI 45-106. The notice also announces that the Commission has ordered a transition period for the minimum purchase price and asset acquisition exemptions until November 30, 2005.

BC Notice 2005/47 - Notice of Local Exemptions related to National Instrument 45-106 Prospectus and Registration Exemptions

This notice announces that the CSA has published a list of local exemptions available in each jurisdiction that will remain available following the adoption of National Instrument 45-106 Prospectus and Registration Exemptions. These local exemptions are not included in NI 45-106 because they are only available on a local basis in certain jurisdictions.

BC Notice 2005/48 - Filing exempt distribution reports now quicker and easier

With the introduction of National Instrument 45-106 Prospectus and Registration Exemptions (NI 45-106), we have made a number of significant changes to our online exempt distribution report system. These changes simplify the filing process, making it quicker and easier for companies and their agents to meet their reporting obligations. When combined with online payment by electronic funds transfer, online filing of exempt distribution reports eliminates extra paper processing and related costs. Filers can access the updated filing system and electronic funds transfer through the BCSC's E-Services.
