- BC Notice 2006/13 - MFDA Investor Protection Corporation - Notice of Variation Order
This notice announces that the Executive Director approves the variation of the approval order to extend the deadline for the working group to submit its report to the MFDA IPC Board and Commission.
BC Notice 2006/14 - Amendments to Securities Act and Securities Regulation
The notice announces the proclamation of amendments to the Securities Act and Securities Regulation to remove detailed continuous disclosure requirements and replace them with a general requirement, and to add a process for the Commission to advertise it has received funds under a disgorgement order.
BC Notice 2006/15 - Advance Notice of National Instrument 81-107Independent Review Committee for Investment Funds
This notice provides advance notice the Commission and the other members of the Canadian Securities Administrators expect to adopt National Instrument 81-107 Independent Review Committee for Investment Funds effective November 1, 2006, and to make a number of related consequential amendments to other national instruments, policies and forms. NI 81-107 will require each investment fund that is a reporting issuer to have an independent review committee comprised of at least three individuals who are independent of the investment fund manager. The fund manager will be required to refer all of its conflicts of interest to that independent review committee. NI 81-107 provides investment funds with certain transition periods to allow them time to appoint its independent review committee. Under this transition period, an investment fund manager must appoint the first members of its independent review committee by May 1, 2007.
