- Notice of BCSC non-objection to MFDA information reporting requirements, notification of changes in registration information and consequential amendments (Policy Nos. 3 and 6 and Rules 1.2.5 and 1.2.6) The BCSC and the other recognizing regulators have approved or not objected to the MFDA's proposal to implement Policy 6, repeal and replace Rule 1.2.5, amend Policy 3 and repeal Rule 1.2.6. The MFDA's proposal consolidates many MFDA reporting requirements into a single instrument, expands the scope of matters that members and approved persons must report, and requires electronic reporting of enforcement and compliance information.
- Good News and Bad News for B.C.'s Capital Markets takes place at the Hotel Vancouver on June 25, 2007. Doug Hyndman will discuss our plans to make Canadian securities regulation more streamlined and effective and will announce our new program to tackle junior securities market fraud originating from British Columbia.
