  • BCN 2008/13 - Adoption of Multilateral Instrument 11-102 Passport System and related companion policy, and related consequential amendments, Adoption of National Instrument 52-110 Audit Committees, related forms and companion policy, Repeal of British Columbia Instrument 52-509 Audit Committees, and Sections 144 and 145 of the Securities Rules, Adoption of National Policy 11-202, Process for Prospectus Reviews in Multiple Jurisdictions, and National Policy 11-203 Process for Exemptive Relief Applications in Multiple Jurisdictions, and Rescission of National Policy 12-201 Mutual Reliance Review System for Exemptive Relief Applications, and National Policy 43-201 Mutual Reliance Review System for Prospectuses

    This BC notice announces the adoption, effective March 17, 2008, of

    • Multilateral Instrument 11-102 Passport System and its related companion policy,
    • National Policy 11-202 Process for Prospectus Reviews in Multiple Jurisdictions and National Policy 11-203 Process for Exemptive Relief Applications in Multiple Jurisdictions, and
    • consequential amendments to a number of national instruments and policies to, among other things, harmonize various British Columbia requirements with those in other CSA jurisdictions.

The BC notice also announces the adoption, effective March 17, 2008, of National Instrument 52-110 Audit Committees, its related companion policy and forms in British Columbia, incorporating consequential amendments expected to be adopted in other CSA jurisdictions, and the repeal of British Columbia Instrument 52-509 Audit Committees and sections 144 and 145 of the Securities Rules.

The advance notice of adoption (BCN 2008/06) was published January 25, 2008.

  • BCN 2008/14 - Notice of Amendments to Securities Act and Securities Regulation

    The notice announces the proclamation of amendments to the Securities Act and Securities Regulation to remove detailed prospectus disclosure requirements, update cross references and to remove a fee for certain applications.
  • BCN 2008/15 - Publication for comment of proposed amendments to the Securities Rules relating to Bill 28

    This notice requests comments on proposed amendments to the Securities Rules relating to the secondary market liability provisions awaiting proclamation in Bill 28.
  • BCN 2008/16 - Adoption of National Instrument 41-101 General Prospectus Requirements, Related Instruments and Consequential Amendments

    This BC Notice announces the adoption, effective March 17, 2008, of National Instrument 41-101 General Prospectus Requirements, its related forms and companion policy.  The notice also announces the adoption of consequential amendments to a number of other national and local instruments and policies, including the Securities Rules. The advance notice of adoption (BCN 2007/43) was published on December 21, 2007.
