  • CSA Staff Notice 11-312 - National Numbering System

    This CSA notice provides updated information on the numbering system the CSA uses for the documents that it publishes.  The BCSC also uses this numbering system for most local documents.

  • CSA Staff Notice 11-313 - Withdrawl of Notices and Policies

    This CSA notice announces the withdrawal of a number of CSA notices, policies and other documents that are no longer relevant. These documents will remain in the historical policies and instruments section of the BCSC website.

  • CSA Staff Notice 13-315 - Securities Regulatory Authority Closed Dates 2010* 

    This CSA staff notice advises issuers of the dates the securities regulatory authorities in jurisdictions across Canada are closed.

  • CSA Staff Notice 23-307 - Order Protection Rule - Implementation Milestones

    Amendments to National Instrument 23-101 that will come into effect on February 1, 2011 will place an order protection obligation on marketplaces. This CSA staff notice sets out high-level, preparatory steps, with milestone dates, that CSA and industry have identified for implementation of the order protection rule.

  • Amendments to Section 35 of MFDA By-law No. 1 - No Action Against the MFDA Investment Protection Corporation and Responses of the MFDA

    This Notice announces that the BCSC has not objected to the MFDA's proposed amendments to its Section 35 of By-law No. 1 - No Action Against the MFDA Investment Protection Corporation.  The amendments provide protection to the Investment Protection Corporation (the IPC) and its directors, officers, employees and agents from any action by a member, approved person or any other person subject to the jurisdiction of the MFDA.  They also provide for the terms of the relationship between the MFDA and IPC and between MFDA members and the IPC.  The BCSC published the amendments for comment on its website on June 26, 2009.  The MFDA received four comment letters on the proposal.  A summary of the comments and the MFDA's responses are attached to this Notice.
