The Commission has made BC Instrument 11-502 Voluntary Surrender of Reporting Issuer Status. This instrument establishes a process for closely held reporting issuers to surrender their reporting issuer status.
The Commission has also issued BC Companion Policy 11-502CP to provide greater information about the process to be followed by those who wish to rely on the instrument.
On December 15, 2000 the Commission rescinded Local Policy Statement 3-34 entitled “Application for Non Reporting Status” which is no longer applicable due to the making of the Instrument.
