BCN 2001/23 - Rescission of National Policy Statement No. 30 Processing of "Seasoned Prospectuses" [BCN - Rescinded]

Effective April 30, 2001, the Commission, together with the other members of the Canadian Securities Administrators, is rescinding National Policy Statement No. 30 Processing of “Seasoned Prospectuses”.

NPS 30 sets out a streamlined procedure for prospectuses that are filed on a repetitive or continual basis.  This procedure is now included in National Policy 43-201 Mutual Reliance Review System for Prospectuses and Annual Information Forms and in National Instrument 81-101 Mutual Fund Prospectus Disclosure.

A notice respecting the proposed rescission was published on November 19, 1999 (see NIN#99/43).  Interested parties were invited to make written submissions with respect to the proposed rescission.  No submissions were received.
